Hi there! I’m Avani, a writer, musician and filmmaker based in New York City.
For the past 7-ish years I’ve taken on various post-production roles, from assistant editor to freelance colourist, while also expanding my motion graphics repertoire.
Another ongoing (tangential yet relevant) venture that I’m super excited about is my handcrafted fragrance business — a welcome respite from screens, and also a chance to apply all the “big corporate learnings” to growing and nourishing a small business.
All in all, I enjoy questioning existing norms of art, genre and conditioning, while also finding the most interesting way to tell a story.
