Hello! I’m Avani, a writer, musician and filmmaker based in New York City.
After 6 years of working in post-production as an editor, and on set as a director, I’m currently looking to take on the more challenging roles of art direction and running social media behind the scenes for brands.
Another (tangential yet relevant) ongoing venture I’m super excited about is my handcrafted fragrance business, which helps me apply all the “big corporate learnings” to growing and nourishing a DTC small-business.
My goal for everything I create is to challenge existing norms (of genre, and by extension, of society), while also finding the most interesting way to tell a story!
